Anseremme is a section of the belgian city of Dinant located in Wallonia in the Namur province . In this village you can go kayaking, hiking , rock climbing and enjoy the rich nature of the region.
Several tourism-related companies offer a kayak rental service from Gendron (12 km) or Houyet (21 km) to descend the Lesse. The most important climbing area in Belgium, Rocher de Freyr, is located south of Anseremme towards Falmigoul.
Descent of the Lesse
In the center of the village next to the church, a rental company will offer you the descent of the Lesse by kayak.
This course is an indisputable experience that will transform your stay in Anseremme into an unforgettable memory.
Two routes are available: either 12 km (2h30) or 21 km (5h).
The company offers a combined kayak – balance bike where you will ride a balance bike on an old disused railway track.

Anseremme is located on the course of three long-distance hiking trails: the GR 125, the GR 126 and the GR 129.
These long-distance hiking trails are very well known in Belgium and the Anseremme section is recognized as one of the most beautiful, with its superb views over the Meuse valley.
The path climbs over the small bridge that spans the entrance to Port Moniat. Take it upstream of the Meuse and follow the red and white marks well known to hikers.
For those who like guided activities the Belgian Alpine Club also offers organized hikes for all tastes and levels. And for those who prefer rock climbing there are quite a few activities to follow too.
