Carrots : Carrot juice extract seems to be able to kill leukaemia cells, and inhibit their growth. In younger men, it appears that beta-carotene may also act protectively against the development of prostate cancer. In addition to its anti-cancer properties, carrots are a good source of vitamin A, which can help with vision problems, while the antioxidants and phytochemicals it contains can help regulate blood sugar, delay the symptoms of ageing and boost the immune system. (

Mushrooms : They are considered an excellent food, as they contain negligible amounts of fat and sugars, but significant amounts of fiber. Mushroom proteins, due to the presence of all the essential amino acids, are of high biological value and rival animal proteins in quality, but without the toxins, fats and cholesterol found in it, so they are considered ideal for vegetarians. They are also an ideal choice for those who want to lose weight, as they contain very few calories (13 calories per 100 grams). Finally, the minimal sodium found in them makes them particularly popular with those who are obliged to follow a salt-poor diet. (
